An experienced financial analyst and manager, Faris Saah holds a master of science in finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he funded his education through three teaching assistantships and two academic fellowships. Over the course of his career, he has overseen leveraged finance for JP Morgan/Morgan Stanley and handled special situation/distressed-debt activities for Concordia Advisors. Faris Saah also served two years as managing director and head of credit research at the Blackstone Group, where he restructured the company’s entire investment process.
Faris Saah has been managing partner at Quansoo Partners since 2015. His responsibilities there involve assisting organizations and professionals on issues related to credit investments and funds. His achievements include developing a private credit platform to source and underwrite first- and second-lien loans for a $6 billion private equity firm.
Outside of the professional arena, Mr. Saah serves as an alumni interviewer and mentor through the MIT Educational Council. He formerly spent seven years as the treasurer of Darien Youth Hockey.
